By uniting all Farmers in one organisation the VFF is able to effectively lobby at all levels of government on a wide range of issues to retain equity for agriculture, rural and regional Victoria.

Industrial Services
Farmer-focused industrial advice, available at minimal cost to all VFF members, including the information packed VFF Employment Handbook. The Handbook provides essential information on Occupational Health & Safety, Federal Awards, Workers Compensation, Right of Entry and so much more. Industrial Services members also receive free unlimited telephone advice, free copies of AWA frameworks and much more.

Education, Careers and Training
Education is an extremely important issue for the Victorian Farmers Federation and Victorian farmers.  The future of agriculture in Victoria will rely on quality people taking up the challenge of work in the industry.  Farmers need to be supported by quality employees with good training and a genuine interest in farming as a career.

Rural people and their children need access to quality education opportunities.  The VFF has an Education Committee, whose work it is to lobby government on these important issues.

The VFF has also compiled a list of scholarships, cadetships and traineeships that can be used by VFF members and their children.

Free to members and published bi-monthly, Victorian Farmer is the official voice of the VFF, keeping members informed of developments in their industry and helping readers gain a clear picture of farming in Victoria and beyond.

Farmguide
The Farmguide is the most comprehensive publication of its type available to farmers in Victoria. The guide enables farmers to source goods and services from organisations wishing to do business with farmers. It also includes a section which provides difficult to find information on issues relating to the farming community.
