The VFF continues to fight for a fairer deal for country Victoria and rural property owners, regardless of the size of their property or their farming income.
While we live in an era where the number of farmers is decreasing and the average size of farm businesses is increasing as large-scale production becomes more popular, there is little doubt that the small farms that remain continue to contribute extensively to rural communities.
The VFF offers small-scale farmers the right to be part of the VFF team through our Small Farming member category. At an annual cost of $275 it is perfect for individuals engaged in active farming, but whose farms may not necessarily be their primary source of income.
The VFF Small Farming Membership enables members to have close contact with other VFF members at a local level, provides for one voting nominee, and gives access to a range of workplace services, member benefits and discounts.
