Emergency Fodder Support Program
For many years now, the VFF has delivered an emergency fodder support program to help impacted landholders during a bushfire or other significant emergency event.
VFF Disaster Relief Fund
There are a number of Victorian fire support services currently on offer to help farmers battling through bushfire conditions and the aftermath. The VFF Disaster Relief Fund assists farmers impacted by extreme events. Donated funds will go towards assisting farmers during times of crisis and are tax deductible. Farmers can also apply for financial assistance from the DRF.
Fodder Transport Registration
In order to participate in the Emergency Fodder Transportation program, all vehicles must be pre-registered with the VFF and transportation costs will only be reimbursed by government for those who are registered with the VFF and issued with a consignment notice during a declared natural disaster.
