We recently took part in the second meeting of the Victorian Government’s Drought Response Taskforce in Shepparton.
We’re glad to relay that the government has announced a streamlined permit system for kangaroo management and fodder deliveries and an expanded road train network in South West Victoria as part of the Victoria Emergency Drought Network.
This is a welcome development and comes after the VFF worked extensively with the government and stakeholders to deliver for farmers. You can read more from the VFF here.
Your feedback has been invaluable and we would like to remind you to keep having your say, so we can pass these critical messages onto decision makers.
