WorkSafe Victoria have introduced a new Farm Safety Category into its annual safety awards, which are allocated during WorkSafe Month, in October, each year.
The new award category acknowledges individuals or businesses who have made a significant difference and tangible improvements on their farm/s through their leadership and practice. This can include a specific safety initiative or a change in farm safety culture.
Entries close on 7 May 2021.
The Making Our Farms Safer Safety Team encourages any farmers who are considering nominating for the awards to contact the team for advice or assistance.
