We Work Together
The Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) has been the voice of Victorian farmers and rural communities since 1979, helping to create a profitable, sustainable and socially responsible agricultural industry connecting with all Victorians. Victoria makes up:
of Australia’s total gross value of agriculture
of Australia’s sheep and lamb meat
of Australia’s milk
of Australia’s horticultural products
We Are A Non Profit Organisation
The Victorian Farmers Federation is an active, powerful lobby group dedicated to the interests of farmers and making a difference to communities. With a strong record of successful political advocacy and leadership, the VFF has generated substantial benefits for the agriculture sector since its formation in 1979.
Even though farming has its own natural challenges from droughts, bushfires and floods, our members have collectively earned the VFF a reputation as a respected leader, contributor and lobbyist.

We Are A Strong Team
The VFF consists of seven Commodity Groups – Dairy (UDV), Livestock, Grains, Horticulture (incorporating Flowers Victoria), Chicken Meat, Eggs and Pigs.
VFF members lead each of these groups and, with the support of Melbourne and regional based staff, provide the power to effectively influence all levels of government on the wide range of issues that impact on modern farming.
Our vision is to create an environment for farmers that enables profitable, safe and sustainable production, within a community that values and respects the farm sector.

We Value Our Members
The VFF has approximately 200 branches across the state. Our members are the lifeblood of the organisation. Branches enable members to:
⇛ Interact with other members of the local farming community
⇛ Gain information about VFF initiatives
⇛ Voice opinions and influence policy formation
⇛ Coordinate local activities
⇛ Generate ideas and identify local issues impacting on branch members
⇛ Celebrate farming success
⇛ Develop further business skill

Our Team
Meet the Victorian Farmers Federation leadership team.

Emma Germano
VFF President
Emma Germano is the Managing Director of her family mixed farming operation, I Love Farms in Gippsland.
I Love Farms has a firm focus on sustainability and strives to connect consumers with Australian farmers to increase community understanding of food and fibre production. It produces brassica, potato and fodder crops under irrigation, sheep and beef and also has a market garden that supplies an on-farm retail outlet.

Danyel Cucinotta
VFF Vice-President
Danyel Cucinotta is a third-generation egg farmer in Werribee. A young farmer who was a public face of Victorian farmer’s fight against a spate of recent animal activist activity, she understands the need for industry to connect with consumers.
She, along with her family, developed a pioneering virtual reality tour of their farm that provides stakeholders and school children the opportunity to visit their farm from the classroom, or Parliament.
