This week we helped launch Victoria’s Biosecurity Strategy, which acts a vital safety net to help protect our multi-billion dollar agriculture industry.
VFF Vice-President Danyel Cucinotta joined fellow Biosecurity Reference Group members, including Victorian Agriculture Minister Ros Spence at the launch after months of work behind the scenes working on the new framework.
Consultation between decision makers and industry is critical on issues such as this and we thank all of those involved in helping to protect our industry and the thousands of people it employs and supports.
We’ll continue to advocate for increased funding and services to help ensure our biosecurity safety net is as strong as possible.
