The Victorian Farmers Federation’s (VFF) Grains Group is encouraging those interested to nominate for the 2022 Grains Council Elections.
VFF Returning Officer Jane Lovell said the Council was seeking nominations for five regions throughout Victoria.
“We are encouraging grains producers interested in helping shape future policy and its implementation to nominate for positions to represent regions across Victoria.”
“These important roles help protect and progress farmers’ interests, develop VFF policy and shape the future for grains producers throughout our State,” Ms Lovell said.
The five regions include Southern Mallee, Eastern Mallee, Northern Mallee, Wimmera and Murray Goulburn.
Nominations are now open and close at 5.00pm Friday 7 January 2022.
