The 177th meeting of the VFF Policy Council was held on Wednesday 7 September 2022 via videoconference.
Policy Council agreed to new policy statements in the areas of Agricultural Education, Biosecurity and Animal Welfare. Policy Council members also agreed to climate change advocacy strategy, setting a clear advocacy agenda that seeks to protect Victorian farmers from global responses to climate change and educates government and the public on how Victorian farmers are dealing with climate issues.
The next Policy Council meeting is scheduled for December 2022.
