There’s still time to nominate to be a farming leader

A reminder that nominations are open for one more week for the below roles as part of the 2026 VFF Elections:

  • VFF President
  • VFF Vice-President

HOW TO NOMINATE:

Nomination forms and instructions can be accessed by clicking below:

Nomination forms MUST be correctly completed in full and lodged with the Returning Officer of the Victorian Farmers Federation to be accepted as a valid nomination.

Nomination forms MUST be emailed to [email protected] NO LATER THAN 5:00pm, Tuesday 31 March 2026. It is strongly recommended that nominations be provided early to allow time for their assessment and to resolve any issues that may arise with the membership status of the nominators or other issues affecting the validity of the nomination.

WHO CAN NOMINATE:

Please be aware that VFF Election Rules require candidates and nominees to be eligible voting members as per their individual VFF membership type. Eligible VFF voting members include VFF Member, Employer Member and Commodity Contributor tiers. In line with the VFF Constitution, only two (2) nominees can vote per membership, nominees one (1) and two (2).

An election will be announced should a role receive more than one (1) individual nomination. Please be aware, in conjunction with the above, a number of roles are open for nominations for the VFF UDV. If you are a VFF UDV Member, you should have already received communication with this information.

Regardless of whether an election is held or not, the successful candidates will be announced at the upcoming 2026 VFF Conference in Ballarat on Tuesday 2 June 2026.

If you know someone or yourself is interested in ensuring your voice is heard on the issues that matter, we’d love to hear from you.
