Don’t miss your chance to secure your ticket to one of Victoria’s premier agricultural events at this year’s 2023 VFF Annual Conference and Dinner at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on July 24 and 25.
Join fellow farmers, industry leaders and leading agricultural figures to delve into the issues facing farmers and unpack this year’s theme- ‘Nothing about us without us: modern advocacy for Regional Victoria.’
Day one will feature a jam-packed line-up of speakers that leads into a not-to-be-missed dinner event.
This year’s keynote address will be given by the Hon. Joel Fitzgibbon, CEO of the Australian Forest Products Association and former Federal Minister for Agriculture. All event information, including ticket prices, registration details and much more can be found here.
COMMODITY GROUP CONFERENCES (GRAINS, LIVESTOCK AND UDV)
Annual Conferences for the Grains, Livestock and the United Dairyfarmers of Victoria Groups will take place concurrently the morning of Tuesday 24 July.
Tickets to the Conference Dinner are now on sale to VFF members and non-members. Tickets for VFF members are $140 (excluding GST), which includes Pre-Dinner drinks in the exclusive MCC Long Room, a three-course meal and drinks in the MCC Members Dining Room and entertainment.
The full Conference agenda will be published on Monday 3 July. Guest speakers and panellists will be announced progressively prior to this date.
VFF Branches, Commodity Groups, and members may submit resolutions to be debated at the Conference. Member resolutions must be submitted using the supplied form to [email protected] by 12 noon Thursday 15 June 2023. All resolutions submitted shall be considered by the VFF Policy Council or the respective Commodity Policy Council for inclusion in the Conference Agenda. All resolutions should be sponsored by a Branch, Commodity Group or Policy Committee. Resolutions not sponsored in this way must be sponsored by no less than five VFF members using the Supplementary Form.
In accordance with the VFF Constitution, resolutions must relate to matters of general policy. General policy is the external VFF public policy platform and does not include VFF internal policies that are maintained by the Board to deliver the VFF’s governance, fiduciary, risk and other accountabilities. Resolutions relating to management or organisational matters will not be accepted and must be submitted to the VFF Annual General Meeting.
