With harvest getting into full swing across Victoria, we’re asking those on the roads to give heavy vehicles some extra room and stay patient to help keep everyone safe.
Drivers can help by:
- Avoiding areas around grain sites
- Moving completely off the road at a stop to allow agricultural traffic to keep moving
- Staying off earth roads unless absolutely necessary
- Being aware of farmers loading and unloading on the roads
- Remaining patient when oversized vehicles are moving between locations and waiting for a safe moment before overtaking
