The future of smart farming technology in the grains sector will be on show at the upcoming 2026 VFF Grains Conference to be held in Yarrawonga on 22 February and 23 February 2026.
VFF Grains President Ryan Milgate said the event promises interesting insight for growers, industry stakeholders, agribusiness leaders on the next generation on on-farm practices.
“With a focus on smarter farming practices and preparing for the future, this conference is about connecting growers with the ideas, tools and people that will help them thrive in the years ahead.”

Event highlights include:
- Opening Welcome Function aboard the Cumberoona Paddle Steamer on the evening of Sunday 22 February, offering delegates an opportunity to connect and set the tone for the event.
- Engaging Program of Sessions featuring expert speakers, industry panels and interactive discussions focused on innovation in the grains sector, practical on-farm strategies, and future opportunities for Victoria’s growers.
- Member Representation and Leadership Announcements: The 2026 conference will also include the launch of new VFF Grains Group representatives, highlighting the continued strength and diversity of our local grain growers.
- Networking Opportunities that bring together farmers, agribusiness professionals and sector partners to foster relationships and share insights that help advance the industry.
